Eddie R. Jimenez, an Associate Attorney in the firm, represents financial and lending institutions in federal and state court matters. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced complex civil litigation for two years.
Mr. Jimenez earned a Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of law. During law school Mr. Jimenez was named to the Dean's List and was a recipient of the Dean's Merit Scholarship for scholastic achievement. Mr. Jimenez was appointed Chief Prosecutor representing California Western School of Law in the prosecution of honor code violations. The same year, Mr. Jimenez tried his first case against two students who were represented by counsel. Mr. Jimenez achieved a verdict in favor of California Western School of Law. He was awarded a Faculty Award in recognition of his significant and positive contribution to the law school.
Mr. Jimenez graduated summa cum laude from Eastern New Mexico University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Political Science. He was named Most Outstanding Criminal Justice Student of his graduating class. While a student at Eastern New Mexico, Mr. Jimenez achieved numerous NCAA student athlete awards and was named Captain of the baseball team. Prior to attending Eastern New Mexico University, Mr. Jimenez earned an A.A. degree from New Mexico Military Institute. As a cadet at NMMI, he graduated on the Superintendent's list. He was a Squad Leader and achieved the rank of Sergeant.
Mr. Jimenez is admitted to the state and federal courts of California, Nevada, and Texas. Mr. Jimenez is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association where he donates his time to the Children at Risk and Community Outreach committees.
