Susan L. Petit
Susan Petit is an Associate Attorney in the Firm's Litigation Department representing financial institutions in commercial and civil litigation, and bankruptcy matters. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Petit practiced insurance defense litigation and was an Assistant Public Defender with the Alaska Public Defender Agency in Anchorage, Alaska.
Ms. Petit earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2002, where she participated in the Jessup Moot Court Competition, completed legal clinics in civil and immigration law, and was a member of the Pro Bono Legal Advocates. She also interned for the San Diego County Public Defender's Office during her third year in law school. Prior to law school, Ms. Petit clerked for two civil litigation firms in Orange County, California. Ms. Petit earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine in 1999.
Ms. Petit is admitted to the state courts of Alaska, California, and Washington. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts of California and Washington.
