Erin L. Laney is an Associate Attorney in the firm's Bankruptcy department, representing financial and lending institutions in both federal and state court matters.
Ms. Laney earned a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she was named to the Dean's List and earned the American Jurisprudence, Cal Witkin Award, and Jefferson Medal in Trial Advocacy. While in law school, Ms. Laney served as an intern for the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego, in addition to serving as an officer of the Student Bar Association, and proudly presiding as President of the Family Law Society.
Ms. Laney graduated with Honors from the University of San Diego School of Graduate Studies, earning a certificate in Paralegal Studies. Ms. Laney graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
Ms. Laney is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts of California. Ms. Laney proudly serves as a volunteer for the Domestic Violence Unit of the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program, the San Diego BloodBank, and the Surfrider Foundation.
