Michael J. Fox has over 14 years of legal experience focused primarily on real estate litigation and transactions on behalf of financial institutions, investors, developers and title insurance companies.
His current practice focuses on the representation of real estate lending institutions, foreclosure trustees and investors in state and federal courts in California.
Mr. Fox studied pre-medicine at the University of California, Irvine and received his juris doctor from Western State University College of Law. During law school, Mr. Fox was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Contracts and Corporations.
Mr. Fox is admitted to practice before all of the Courts of California as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Central and Northern Districts as well as the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Pite Duncan, LLP, Mr. Fox was Vice-President and Associate Counsel for Fidelity National Financial, Inc, a Fortune 300 Company where he handled all aspects of Title Insurance litigation for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, Chicago Title Insurance Company, Ticor Title Insurance Company and Security Union Title Insurance Company.
Mr. Fox is also a licensed real estate broker since 1985.
