John B. Acierno III, is an Associate Attorney in the firm's Bankruptcy department, representing financial and lending institutions in both federal and state court matters.
Mr. Acierno earned a LL.M. degree in business and corporate law from The University of San Diego School of Law Diego. Prior to joining Pite Duncan, LLP, Mr. Acierno worked for a solo practitioner drafting contracts for biotech companies. Mr. Acierno is also a member of The San Diego Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association.
Mr. Acierno earned a Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While in law school Mr. Acierno was invited to join Law Review and was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association.
Mr Acierno completed his undergraduate studies at Wheeling Jesuit University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management. Mr. Acierno is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts of California.
