Thomas N. Abbott
Mr. Abbott is an Associate Attorney in the Firm's Litigation Department
representing financial institutions in commercial and civil litigation.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Abbott practiced commercial real property
transactions and litigation.
Mr. Abbott earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Loyola Law School of
Los Angeles. During law school Mr. Abbott: was a staff member of the
Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review; published an article in the Loyola of
Los Angeles Law Review entitled Kaplan and "Regarded As": Does the ADA
Discriminate Between Real and Perceived Disability? 39 Loy. L.A. L. Rev.
883, 883 (2006); participated in the Scott Moot Court Competition; and
served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Lourdes G. Baird of the
Federal District Court for the Central District of California. Mr.
Abbott earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the State
University of New York at Buffalo. Mr. Abbott has lived in Japan and is
conversant in Japanese.
Mr. Abbott is admitted to practice in California.
